This unique specimen has a lot to offer! This is a free-standing Dolomite with Pyrite running all throughout it, with a touch of copper. Dolomite is a Calcium Magnesium carbonate and has a Mohs hardness of 3.5-4. This stone can grow in granular and/or massive habits.

Pyrite, also known as fool's gold, is an iron sulfide type of mineral. It is a little more durable than its counterpart, its Mohs hardness is 6-6.5. Its crystal patterns vary. They can be octahedral, cubic, or pyritohedral. Its name, Pyrite, comes from Greece and means fire. They named it this because if you hit 2 pieces of pyrite together it will create sparks.

Cleaning Instructions: You can gently clean this with a soft bristled paint brush.
